After being diagnosed with a rare neurological condition and being sidelined from running, I decided to give Pineries Run Coaching a try.  Although I was a bit hesitant at first, hiring Coach Nate was, without a doubt, the best running decision ever!!  The support and knowledge that Coach Nate offers me has gotten me back to something I love....running.  Not only am I running, but I am doing it safely, successfully, and am learning how to listen to my body and adjust as needed based on my neurological symptoms that day.  I am now signed up for a half marathon in May and am so excited about getting back to distance running.  When I thought that my running days may be over, along came Nate to show me that my running journey isn't over, I am just starting a new chapter of my running journey.  Thank you, Coach Nate!!

"Since joining Pineries Running Lab, I have accomplished many things! I completed my first marathon and went from not running at all the year prior to qualifying for Chicago and Boston. I’ve also learned a lot! This includes information about nutrition, stretching, the reasons behind the training structure, types of running shoes, the impact of stress on training, and the difference between anaerobic and aerobic exercise. Prior to coaching, I wasn’t fueling at all and I had no idea about how my heart rate impacts endurance training. I was training at too high of a heart rate to best accomplish my goals.
