Brett Roberts – Physical Therapist

Brett Roberts, MPT is the senior physical therapist at Roberts & Associates Physical Therapy. Brett received a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002. He also recieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.

Since graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Brett has pursued additional training in the manual medicine tract at Michigan State University-College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has also pursued training in aquatic therapy, industrial ergonomics and various sports medicine techniques.  Brett currently sees patients at our Wisconsin Rapids clinic as well as at our satellite clinic in Amherst, WI.

When not helping patients to maximize their ability to move, Brett enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.  He also enjoys racing in the Wisconsin Sport Trucks series.  Brett also currently serves as the Legislative Committee Chair  for the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association.

Matthew Ironside, Physical Therapist

Matthew graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a Masters in Physical Therapy in December 2009.  Previously attended University of Wisconsin –Madison for his bachelors degree in Exercises Science in 2006.  He is a Lincoln High School graduate of 2002.  Matthew’s interest in physical therapy was sparked by his athletic background at both Lincoln High, and UW Madison.  Through his academic coursework he has studied neuro-rehab at Milwaukee VA hospital and North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, MN, and orthopedic rehab at Howard Head/Steadmen Hawkins in Vail, CO.  Matthew currently sees patients at our Wisconsin Rapids office.

Matthew’s clinical approach for spine care is centered around evidence based manual therapy, specifically spinal manipulation and joint mobilization.

Intrests and Hobbies outside of the clinic: Outdoor activities, triathlons, pole vaulting, cars, badger sports, his dog Turk, and cat Finley.

Erik Jacobs -Physical Therapist Assistant

Erik became an esteemed member of our clinic in May of 2008. After earning a degree in Corporate Health and Wellness from the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse, Erik decided to pursue a degree from Western Technical College to become a physical therapist assistant in 2008.  Areas of specialty for Erik include geriatric and stroke rehab.  Erik sees patients at our clinic in Wisconsin Rapids as well as assisting us at Edgewater Haven nursing home.

When not assisting patients, Erik enjoys spending time with his son, Tony, teaching/participating in various sports.  He also serves as the Co-Chair of the Conduit committee for the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association.

Jessica Bloczynski – Massage Therapist

Jessica is a Wisconsin Licensed (3664-046) and NCTMB Certified (504422-06) Massage Therapist and a member of ABMP. She graduated from Health Touch Spa School of Massage in December 2005. Since then, she has pursued further training in different techniques including Ortho-bionomy, neuromuscular therapy, and reflexology. Jessica does have her own Massage Therapy business Journey to Wellness Massage, LLC which she opened in August 2005.

Jessica also graduated from UW-Stevens Point in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Promotion and Wellness. She is able to utilize her background from UWSP in health, nutrition, stress management, and exercise science along with her massage school education to evaluate each client’s needs and determine the most effective treatment program for them. Her goal is to always work with each client with the knowledge that every person’s work situation, environment, stressors, health background, and experience with massage and other therapies is vastly different and therefore requires an individual treatment plan.

Jessica grew up in Wisconsin Rapids and was very happy to stay in the area close to her family. She now lives in Grand Rapids with her husband, Patrick, and their cat, Cole. Jessica and her husband enjoy many hobbies together, such as camping, boating, snowshoeing, and spending time at our cabin in Minocqua.

Linda Hess- Office and Billing Manager

Linda is our patient accounts and office manager. Please direct any questions regarding patient accounts to Linda at 423-4467. Originally from Rio, Wisconsin, she has considerable experience in providing excellent customer service in the banking industry and while running her own business in Rio. When she is not at work helping others, Linda enjoys watching her daughter compete as a national and world qualifying barrel racer and spending time with her grandchildren.

Kerry Spang – Patient Care Coordinator
